Simple Systems for Straightforward Cleaning Since being introduced, the Reach & Wash® System has undergone a number of revisions. The V4 system represents the latest, fourth generation of the Reach & Wash® vehicle-mount.

Having pure water on-board means that window cleaning starts within minutes of arriving at the job site with the minimum of set-up time. V4 uses Ionic’s latest filter housings with replaceable filter cartridges mounted vertically on our trademark crash tested stainless steel frame. V4 boasts the use of John Guest fittings throughout ensuring a neat and leak free design. The standard V4 is available in a range of tank sizes from 300 to 1,000 litres to suit all types of commercial vans and only requires mains water pressure (min 45psi) to filter tap water down to zero parts per million purity.

If a water supply is available on site then the V4 system can process pure water into the tank whilst the 12 volt pumps provide pure water for cleaning. The standard V4 features a 12 volt pure water delivery pump operated by a variable pump speed controller, automatic tank-full shut off, and a water level indicator.

PFS™ – Periodic Flush System. On start up this feature automatically flushes the Reverse Osmosis Membrane for a period of 2 minutes. Thereafter the RO is flushed for 2 minutes every hour during the filling process.

The V4™ truck-mount has undergone a complete ground up revision resulting in an impressive 10% weight reduction for improved payload
capacity as well as a 100mm lower centre of gravity for improved vehicle handling.

In addition the V4™ boasts tech options to improve filter performance, RO membrane life and water quality.
With new tech such as periodic auto-flush, ROMS™ and PDI™, V4™ water quality moves into the sub zero ppm range.

ROMS™ – Reverse Osmosis Maintenance System.
At the end of each tank fill, pure water is diverted to the RO membrane housing. Leaving the RO membrane bathing in pure water between fills ensures that dissolved solids (found in tap water) do not foul the membrane. Further, dissolved solids that are not removed from the membrane surface during Periodic Auto Flush cycles are absorbed by the pure water during the ‘rest period’ to be flushed away during the first flush on startup.

PDI™ – Perpetual De-ionisation. This feature considerably extends DI resin contact time. Ultra purification is achieved by repeated exposure of purified water to the final DI polishing stage.
